Staff were very friendly and helpful. Helped us book a tour for the same afternoon which we would have otherwise missed. Room was clean and met expectations. Were able to get 2 good nights of sleep. Short walk gets you to the centre of Te Anau.
Windows could have used fly screens as Te Anau has mosquitos / sandflies.

Really lovely little vintage style motel, spotlessly clean and very friendly. All rooms look on to the gorgeous garden. Only a short walk to shops, restaurants and lake side. Good vaue for money and I would definitely recommend it.

The hosts are very welcoming and friendly. All is clean and tidy.
Facilities are very basic and a bit old. The motel is really overrated. It is a mystery for me how it gained 8.7, I believe it should be around 7.0 by NZ standards and 6.0 if you come from Europe.

Joe our host was very friendly. Warm welcome, helpful, giving advice and even offering to keep our luggage while we were doing a night cruise on Doubtful Sound. Spacious room, with extra bed. Everything very well maintained and spotless clean. Highly recommended if you want to stay over night in Te Anau.
